On a new Instagram post thanking healthcare workers, the billionaire philanthropist was exposed to countless thousands of comments calling him a partisan and linking him to a broad assortment of bizarre conspiracy theories.
The Gates Foundation is the second-largest financial backer of the WHO following the United States. The organisation has also committed roughly $250 million for research and testing related to COVID-19.
